Vi har brug for din hjælp til årets BUSTER, der igen indtager de københavnske biografer som selvstændig film- og mediefestival for børn og unge. Mellem den 21. september til 4. oktober inviterer vi børn, unge, barnlige sjæle og filmbranchen indenfor i biografmørket til film i hele København, faglige debatter, workshops, premierer og meget, meget mere!

Som frivillig hjælper du med at løfte festivalen og får samtidig et indblik i, hvordan en filmfestival er skruet sammen. Opgaverne er mange og forskelligartede, og du får mulighed for at møde nye mennesker og komme med på forreste række til en masse film- og medieoplevelser.

De fleste frivilligvagter er skemalagt under selve festivalen, men der er også vagter der afvikles i perioden op til. Vagterne under festivalen vil hovedsageligt ligge i dagtimerne, mens kun enkelte opgaver vil ligge eftermiddag og tidlig aften.

Opgaverne vil være indenfor følgende områder:

  • Events & kundeservice: Hjælp til afvikling af særevents, gallaer, debatter og film-events eller kundeservice i festivalcentrum. Herunder seating i biograferne.
  • Værtskab: kan du varme en sal fuld af unger op? (så fuld som sundhedsmyndighederne anbefaler)- og hjælpe til med seating og introduktioner i biograferne. Denne opgave er særligt for dig, der har en performer eller skuespiller i maven! LÆS HER (KLIK)

15. september afholder vi et introduktionsmøde for alle frivillige, hvor vi fortæller mere om de specifikke opgaver og generelt om festivalen.

Mødet er delt op, så alle er med til introduktionen kl. 17-18 og fra kl. 18-20 kun for Performere.

Make your mark on this year’s best film and media festival for children and young people, and be with us all the way during an explosive and buzzing festival period from 21 September to 4 October.

REGISTRATION FOR BUSTER VOLUNTEERS IS NOW OPEN!

We need your help for this year’s BUSTER, which once again occupies the Copenhagen cinemas as an independent film and media festival for children and young people. Between 21 September and 4 October, we invite children, young people, childish souls and the film industry inside the cinema darkness to films throughout Copenhagen, professional debates, workshops, premieres and much, much more!

As a volunteer, you help lift the festival and at the same time get an insight into how a film festival is coming together. The tasks are many and varied, and you get the opportunity to meet new people and join the front row for a lot of film and media experiences. All these in a joyful atmosphere surrounded by children and young people.

Most volunteer shifts are scheduled during the festival itself, but there are also shifts that take place in the period up to. The shifts during the festival will mainly be in the morning, while only a few tasks will be in the afternoon and early evening.

Most of the shifts don’t require Danish skills, and when it’s mandatory it’s clearly written on the shift.

The tasks will be within the following areas:

Events & customer service: Help with special events, galas, debates and film events or customer service in the festival center.

Venue Hosting: Can you manage a room full of kids? (as full as the health authorities recommend). Help with seating and managing the crowd at the cinemas.

Performer: This task is especially for you who have a performer or actor in your stomach or just enjoy music, choreography and make kids feel happy and welcome. This task requires Danish language skills.

We ask our volunteers to contribute at least 2 shifts in order to allow us a better team coordination and make it a better learning experience for all of you.  

As a thank you for your help, we will receive free tickets to this year’s festival program (which you can share with friends and family) as well as this year’s official BUSTER t-shirt and tote bag.

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!! As we work with kids and young people, we need to make sure that everyone in the festival, staff and volunteers, have no criminal record with regards to children. Therefore we will follow the Danish Police rules and share the names and CPR numbers of the entire festival organization (staff & volunteers) with them to check and confirm clear criminal records with regards to children. In Danish called a Børneattest. That will take place prior to the festival. Latest by Sept. 17th. We will let you know how to do it.

We respect the GDPR rules, Your CPR will only be shared with the Police for us to check the criminal record and then will be destroyed. We never ask you to share your CPR via email. Only face to face or via a phone call either from Trine or Stella. After the POLITI check, we will delete all information. We keep your full name, emails and phone numbers on an excel only for us and we never share. Only your first name and initial of last name will be shown on the shift-for security reasons.

15th September at 17-18 INTRODUCTION MEETING

15th of September from 17-18 we hold an introductory meeting for all volunteers, where we tell more about the specific tasks and in general about the festival.
